We’ve been waiting for this day for a long time. Today marks the start of the 6th edition of the ORLEN Nations Grand Prix, part of the Nations Cup series for young riders. This time, the race begins in the Czech Republic, where the first mountainous stage will be contested.

The race starts in the historically rich Prostejov, enchanting with its architecture. As the riders leave the city, they’ll be able to admire the beautiful landscapes of eastern Czechia, although they likely will focus on the tough stage.

Today’s stage route will be a challenge. Riders will face 135 kilometers, featuring numerous climbs. There will be two mountain primes along the route, situated on the climb in Hartinkov. We can expect numerous attacks on the route, ensuring an exciting competition.

The finish line will be located in Bouzov, known for its Gothic castle, whose history dates back to the 14th century. On the short climb, one of the riders will write their cycling history. Will it be a breakaway rider? Or perhaps the best sprinter from the selected peloton?

There are many favorites for today’s stage, highlighting the richness of the start list. 25 teams will participate in the ORLEN Nations Grand Prix, including 22 national teams. It’s going to be exciting, let’s get this started!
