ORLEN Nations Grand Prix starts tomorrow

We are only a few dozen hours away from the start of the next edition of the ORLEN Nations Race, during which riders from the national teams of countries such as Italy, Germany, Denmark and Poland will face each other. On Friday, September 9, the two-stage race belonging to the UCI U23 Nations Cup series will begin.

– This is a unique race because we are organizing it for riders who are not yet 23 years old, but are professional cyclists and will represent their countries, not teams. – announces the vice Olympic champion from Moscow, Czeslaw Lang.

Stage 1 of the race will start in Suprasl and after covering 156.9 kilometers, the riders will reach Bialystok. The route will lead over relatively flat terrain.

Stage 2 is 136.1 kilometers from Bialystok to Augustow. The route is characterized by 3 similar climbs and a large number of quite straight sections leading through Podlasie forests. The total elevation gain on this stage is 750 meters.

– Fantastic racing, beautiful terrain, great emotions. A truly great cycling feast is being prepared, so I invite everyone to cheer! – assures Czesław Lang.

The race will be broadcast live on TVP Sport. There will also be a worldwide online broadcast via sport.tvp.pl
